• Medical history
  * MI, angina, DM, cholesterol
  * Asthma
  * GORD
  * Stroke, epilepsy, depression
  * Motion-sickness
  * Thyroid, liver/kidney
• Previous anaesthetics
• Medication
• Allergy
• Smoker/alcohol/drugs
• Exercise tolerance
• Last oral intake

Investigations

• Blood results
  * Especially K+, INR, FBC, Creatinine
• ECG
• Echocardiogram or other cardiac investigations
• Spirometry

In pregnancy,

• USS of uterus
  * Gestation stage
  * Position of placenta
• Rh status

Examination

• Airway (MP score, Dentition, Jaw opening, Neck ROM, TMD)
• Heart
• Lung
