K. pneumoniae and K. oxytoca can cause
  • Necrotising lobar pneumonia (in alcoholic, diabetic, COPD pt)
  • UTI, bacteremia in hospitalised pt

Serratia

  • Motile
S. marcescens cause
  • Lower respiratory tract infection
  • Urinary tract infection

Proteus, Providencia, Morganella

  • Urinary tract, wound infections, pneumonias, sepsis
